H. dumortieri blooms in June in So. VT.
H dumortieri is a strong grower, and a consistent early bloomer. Here in Vermont it always blooms around the first week of June. As with all daylilies a few blooms will begin at least a week before this.

Hemerocallis dumortieri is one of the earliest blooming daylilies found in cultivation. Exhibiting pigmented buds and a strong scent this species golden yellow blooms.
